This One Has Me Thinking

I’ve been reading about a flex belt scam, and I hate to say it, but maybe there really is something to this? I don’t get how this little skinny belt could actually work my muscles like sit ups and crunches do…and where’s the burn going to come from?

I don’t really feel like I’ve had a workout unless my muscles are super sore…you know how that feels…but it means you’re really stressing your muscles, making some strides, doing some good…how can you feel that way if you’re not actually doing the exercise yourself?

It’s not that I’m a masochist or anything, but that old saying, “no pain, no gain” seems to work for me…it’s the sure way I have that tells me I’m exercising hard enough to get some results…without that? I dunno, I guess I’d feel like I was cheating or something.

So the Flex Belt might be ok for some folks who don’t feel the way I do, just want to take it easy and get toned that way. But for me? It just doesn’t work.

The Hypnotized Kids

Three people once told me, while they were standing around me in a circle, that my little gym is the most amazing thing you could ever do with your kids. They took this group of kids, and did a double blind study.
